Quickly building a reputation as one of the top DJs to watch in the Western US,Valerie Sparks continues her quest to spread her sound and her style of Happy Hardcore. Valerie first came onto the addicting sound of Happy Hardcore by hearing Neverending Story by DJ Spree, and searched for more of this exciting sound. Her search led her to mixes from Cloudskipper and DJ DNA, among others, and it was after hearing the sounds from them that she decided she would take the initiative and begin her DJ career. From her start to the present, her exciting onstage antics such as singing to the crowd, flawless mixing and track selection have her being remembered time and time again by almost all who witness her play. To compliment her amazing live performances, Valerie has just been named the 2nd place winner in the 2001 HappyHardcore.com mix contest and 1st place in People's Choice competition, which was held worldwide. This accomplishment was considerable, seeing as though over 40 DJs from across the globe entered. Its no wonder with her talent that Valerie has played across the country, in cities including Cincinnati, Phoenix, Tucson, Las Vegas, Sacramento, Los Angeles, and San Francisco to name a few. She has recently started working with DJ Tronic and the Resistance Recordings label, an imprint dedicated to the hard underground dance scene. Here, she will be fully displaying her incredible vocal talents, as well as her expanding production skills.
